Can't hide from me!

 A lot of people don't like doing things by themselves, but I do. All this for myself today?! I think so!

Big Lagoon

I am not a huge fan of crowded beaches...actually crowds in general. So I decided to go to Big Lagoon State park on this nice sunny day and see if I can finally capture a couple pictures of a few birds and boats making splashes. Maybe next weekend I'll make it to Pensacola Beach extremely early in the morning to catch the sunrise, then leave or go crabbing to avoid the beach crowd. (I keep telling myself I'm going to go crabbing out here someday, but it never happens.)

        These birds look like they are on a flying date out on the beach. They are almost holding hands!

                                   

Sunset in Pensacola

Right after class I drove straight to my room and changed into my adventure attire just in time to witness a beautiful sunset in Pensacola.

If you thought THOSE were a lot of sunset pictures, imagine how long I've been staring at the sun for all the ones not included in this post! I was temporarily blind...

Also, more "hiking trails"....Florida style. This "trail" led to my sunset.

Unfortunately, there was no wildlife activity going on but the Pelicans like to hang out here for good fishing. There were none that day but to my surprise, there are crabs 'n stingray in the water! Also a lot of trout. I told my classmates about this place since they like to go fishing. But if I went fishing...it will be my little secret.

Fortune Cookie

Last night, I went to Panda Express and got this fortune. Pensacola fortune cookies have been pretty inspirational so far! I think I'm going to find a park with more hiking trails. Hopefully I will find a trail that is considered a REAL hiking trail instead of a stroll on the beach.
